Crispin's Cider

Crispin's Cider

pic There's nothing quite like the crisp, refreshing, tang of a decent drop of cider to relieve aching bones after some honest hard work. Similarly, when Spring has sprung and all around is sunny and chirpy, what better celebration than a cool flute of sparkling perry to dance upon your tastebuds?

Well, maybe you could go one better... How about putting your feet up under the very tree from which the apples fell? Enjoying the goodness of your own garden in sparkling liquid form. Ever been impressed by the richer taste of home-made jam, home-baked bread or home-grown veg? It can be like a re-awakening, like you'd never really tasted the real thing previously - you never realised cider tasted quite that... well, good.

Let me introduce myself, I'm Crispin and I'm a cider, perry and general homebrew enthusiast. I reside in Pinhoe, near Exeter, in the heart of the Westcountry, where cider has an illustrious reputation. Here I'm able to indulge in some of the world's best ciders as well as have a dabble in the creative process myself. As yet, my cider making and homebrew activities are in a strictly amateur capacity and I'm not registered with HM Revenue & Customs. Since I hate to see good apples and pears go to waste, I'll happily aid their conversion from unwanted fruit (typically windfalls) into high quality, personalised blends, of the utmost virtue.
